Jeff Jones Jr is a contemporary artist with a focus on pop culture, advertising and branding, often viewing through a nostalgic lens.

He has a long standing academic and professional background as a marketing director spanning Sydney and New York. Inspired by his commercial experiences, Jeff incorporates behind-the-scenes nuance of advertising and branding into his art. His style is heavily influenced by illustration, advertising, typography and commercial printing techniques. Gouache, oil and letterpress commonly feature in his paintings.

Jeff’s work reflects admiration and cynicism towards advertising’s permeating influence on culture and human behavior. His work is rooted in this contradiction, playing on the imagination and wonder it's meant to spark.

When not painting, Jeff can often be found running in Central Park or playing pinball.
